I am a Software Engineer living in San Jose, California, USA

Through my work I am striving to become part of present day technological advances that can impact lives of people both globally and locally. Outside work I enjoy cooking, playing soccer, hiking and watching movies and spend casual times with friends and family members.

UAV Assisted Parking System

MANUS: Assistive Robotic Manipulator

This project deals with a special kind of assistive robot called MANUS, a wheelchair-mounted robotic arm(WMRA) designed by Exact Dynamics to meet the necessities of motion-impaired persons due to neuromuscular losses like spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, stroke that poses limitations to upper body extremities. With two-fingered end-effector smart grasping using slip and pressure sensing is presented in this research work.

A.I.M.-Y Mobile Robot

A.I.M.-Y (Autonomous Insurgent Machine -You), is an autonomous robotic system that was built as part of the Thales Arduino Microcontroller Challenge-2016. The robot identifies and tracks a pre-processed image that comes under its camera's field of view using Computer Vision algoirthm and aims at the identified target using LASER gun mounted on a 2-axis servo motors that are controlled by Arduino Uno microcontroller. The robot moves around by itself with the help of DC motors

MRI SEGMENTATION

UAV Ground Control Simulation

Simulation and Testing: Internship project where a SITL instance of a drone is controlled via ROS.

Adaptive Visual Servoing of a Robot

With the use of limited image space and task space information, the robot manipulator's end effector is moved from the actual position to desired position. An improved performance in the torque control input is demonstrated in the MATLAB simulations with reference to the scholarly article 'Adaptive 2.5D Visual Servoing of Kinematically Redundant Robot Manipulators', by Y. Fang, A. Behal, W. E. Dixon, and D. M. Dawson.

Student Disability Services

Student Disability Services(SDS), UCF employs high‐achieving, responsible students to assist with delivering note taking services to students registered with SDS. I was trained and certified as a note-taker by Pepnet Online Note-Taker Services. My responsibilities included attending classes and taking reliable and legible notes for a students with disabilities.
